“The early bird gets the worm” is a saying we all know well, but it’s sort of funny to see it applied to aesthetic treatments! What we’re getting at is that if you want to look your best for the holiday pictures and parties, you need to be an “early bird” with planning! That’s right, now is the time — months before the holidays — to contact us to schedule your aesthetic treatments so you can secure the precise appointment times you need to achieve your results, and for any side effects to subside, well before you need to be seen.
Here’s a proposed schedule breakdown, based on the types of treatments and results you want:
For tighter, smoother skin and sculpted contours
It’s also important to note that you may benefit from a series of treatments. This is true for CoolSculpting as well as Vanquish ME, CoolTone, QWO cellulite treatment, Sculptra and Scarlet RF microneedling. Always keep in mind that buildable benefits for fat reduction and skin tightening treatments are the key to your best results!
Thread lifts are an exception to this rule. You may only need one thread lift procedure to get the results you want immediately, and these benefits should last for a few years.
Overall, body contouring without surgery is rarely a one-and-done procedure. It can take a series of treatments to achieve the results you need. In short, advance planning is the key here to your satisfaction. If you are looking to trim belly fat before fitting into your holiday attire, now is the time to start treating yourself to treatments!
For effortlessly glowing skin
Who doesn’t want to look radiant for the holidays, let alone at the gym or grocery store? Glowing skin is magic!
- The technologies to consider: HydraFacial MD®, Tixel®, IPL photofacial, microneedling, PICO Genesis, PRF Facial/Facelift, chemical peels, facials and more!
- The timing: You have a little more wiggle room here, depending on the treatment. HydraFacial MD or a clinical facial, for example, can be done the day before or even day of a party to give you a glow with no downtime. (If depends on the facial, though; extractions and exfoliation can cause a little redness and swelling.) If you’re looking to clear away dark spots with IPL photofacial, you’ll need to give yourself a full two weeks to allow your skin to shed pigmentation. Optimal results can be seen after a series of at least three treatments, scheduled four weeks apart, so photofacials should really be started months before you want to see optimal results. The same is true if you’re hoping to reduce redness or small veins. For Tixel, microneedling, PICO Genesis, PRF Facial/Facelift and chemical peels, we also recommend giving yourself months to achieve buildable benefits and optimal results, and at least two weeks of buffer time before your event to allow time for your skin to renew itself. Bottom line: It’s never too soon to start your series of skin rejuvenation treatments! Buildable benefits are the key to glowing skin that lasts!
For lines and wrinkles and lifting
- The technologies to consider: Botox®, dermal fillers, PRF Facial/Facelift, Tixel® skin tightening, chemical peels, PICO Genesis and Scarlet SRF radiofrequency microneedling.
- The timing: Botox can take four to seven days to show optimal results and for your contours to settle. Fillers can provide an immediate plumping and lifting effect, but they also take time for any swelling or bruising to subside and for your fillers to fully settle in. For these reasons, we recommend undergoing injectables at least two weeks before your event. For the other treatments, from PRF Facial to Tixel, your best results for seeing improvements in lines and lift can be achieved after a series of treatments, so we recommend starting your treatments as soon as you can!
